Well, we couldn’t possibly say. However, what we can tell you is that this Guildford mortgage broker won the Top Medium Sized Firm Award at this year’s Mortgage Intelligence Awards. It means that we’ve won this category for the second year in a row!
Whilst Complete Mortgages as a business wins the award, it really belongs to each and every one of our Surrey mortgage advisers.
After all, without our team – many of whom have been with us for a long time – there wouldn’t even be a Complete Mortgages.
Not only did our mortgage brokerage in Guildford win the top award, but Lee Cousens, one of our best Guildford mortgage brokers, was awarded finalist status for the Top Mortgage Adviser category – well done, Lee.
Although, it’s no surprise – we were fortunate enough to lure him to our Surrey mortgage brokerage from one of the UK’s largest mortgage brokers back in 2017. And whilst we wouldn’t want his head to get too big, we have to say that he is very good.
The year ahead
And our award win comes at a good time, as we have big ambitions for the next 12 months – much of which involves continuing with our growth plans and, of course, maintaining the high level of service that Complete Mortgages has become renowned for.
We currently have a team of 10 highly skilled and professionally trained advisers and are still expanding.
As we’ve already covered in our article on mortgages and the general election, we expect mortgage enquiries to increase dramatically after 4 July, as the inevitable uncertainty associated with the run up to an election gives people pause for thought before making any big decisions.
Although, as we covered in the same article, there really is no need to wait. In fact, we would advise people to get the ball rolling now so that they’re ready to go as soon as the dust has settled – and to beat the (also inevitable) post-election mortgage rush.
We think that the latter half of 2024 will be a turning point for the mortgage marketplace; one that will see mortgage rates fall, more accessible property purchases and, with it, cheaper monthly mortgage repayments.
Back to our award win, though. It’s not just the team that played a role in helping us scoop the top award – but also our clients, too. So, if that’s you, then we’d like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to you.
